SUMMARY:Men's Breakfast\, November
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Men\, our usual Men’s Breakfast looks a lot different this month. Join us Saturday\, November 14\, at 7:30 AM at the church\, where we’ll grab a portable breakfast and carpool to a Solitude Session off-site. Jesus often withdrew to desolate places to pray (Luke 5:16)\, and a Solitude Session follows His example. After a brief introduction\, you’ll settle into a quiet spot and seek the Lord through guided Scripture reading\, with space to listen to His voice and return ready for the work He has prepared for you. Bring your Bible\, a camp chair\, and warm layers. The cost is still $5. Sign up now![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Raising Godly Generations
DESCRIPTION:Ken Ham\, founder of Answers in Genesis\, the Ark Encounter\, and the Creation Museum\, and Heidi St. John\, bestselling author and host of the Faith That Speaks podcast\, are touring the West Coast to encourage and equip families to raise up godly generations who think biblically and stand boldly for Christ. On Wednesday\, November 18\, their tour stops at Confluence Church. \n\n\n\nOne of the primary purposes of marriage is to pass along a spiritual legacy to the next generation: in other words\, to raise up godly offspring. What does that look like\, and how can you effectively pass on your faith to your kids or grandkids? How should Christians view public school\, Christian school\, and homeschool? \n\n\n\nKen and Heidi will bring practical biblical truth and encouragement to help you be intentional in the great task God has called you to. The evening closes with a Q&A where you can bring your own questions. \n\n\n\nThe event is free\, but you’ll need to register. Bring the whole family\, or gather a group from your small group or ministry. \n\n\n\nSchedule5:00 PM Doors open6:00 PM Event begins6:15 PM Will They Stand | Ken Ham7:30 PM Intermission8:00 PM Before They Face the Giants: Building a Foundation of Truth | Heidi St. John8:50 PM Q&A with Ken Ham and Heidi St. John9:30 PM Event concludes \n\n\n\nMore about the tour: answersingenesis.org/outreach/event/auburn26
