DESCRIPTION:You can help a family in need by providing a holiday food basket! \nEach basket should contain the items listed below (which will also be sent to you in a confirmation message). Feel free to include extras and embellish your basket. Get creative! Just make sure all additional items are non-perishable and do not require refrigeration. Here are some ideas: tea towels\, candles\, new whisks or kitchen utensils\, a personal card with a note\, etc. \nBaskets should be sufficient to feed a family of 5-6 people. \nThanksgiving Baskets\nThanksgiving baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday\, November 17. \nChristmas Baskets\nChristmas baskets should be delivered to the church office by Sunday\, December 15. \nShopping List \n\nA $50+ gift card/certificate from a local grocery store to purchase a turkey\, ham\, or fresh vegetables\nFoil roasting pan\nSeasoned stuffing mix\nTwo cans of chicken broth\nOnions and celery\nMashed potatoes or canned sweet potatoes\nGravy mix\nTwo canned vegetables\nTwo cans of cranberry sauce\nOlives or pickles\nDinner rolls\nJell-O\nCanned fruit\nPie or pie crust and filling\n\nWe highly recommend making this a fun basket. You are welcome to decorate them or add other non-perishable items. Feel free to get creative!
