Trail Life Troop CA-49 is a ministry for boys ages 5 to 17. We raise godly boys through example, adventure, and stewardship of God's creation.
When We Meet
When
The first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6 PM.
Where
The gym at Confluence Church.
Who
Boys in kindergarten through 12th grade. Dads are welcome too.
Three Trails
Trail Life USA is a Christ-centered, boy-focused mentoring and discipleship program. It partners with local churches to equip men to raise the next generation of servant leaders through outdoor adventure.
Woodlands Trail
Grades Kâ5. Boys learn outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship, and faith through fun activities, awards, and skill instruction.
Navigators
Grades 6â8. Under the guidance of godly men, Navigators grow in their values and beliefs by taking responsibility on outdoor adventures, at home, and at school. They explore their interests and earn Trail Badges.
Adventurers
Grades 9â12. With Christian men walking alongside them, Adventurers take on harder challenges. They plan outdoor events, lead large projects, and hold leadership positions in the troop.
A Tuesday Night
Meetings open with ceremonies. Trailmen line up in their patrols for the flag salute, the Trailman Oath, prayer, and announcements. Then each patrol breaks out for lessons and badge work. We come back together for closing ceremonies, and the night ends with games led by the Adventurers.
Hit the Trail
At least once a month, we get outside. This year’s plans include camping trips, day hikes, a train museum, and a lock-in with a Nerf war and movie night.
Join the Adventure
We’d love for your son to join us. Dads, we also encourage you to get officially involved, at meetings and when we hit the trail. It’s a great way to invest time in your son as he grows into a man of God. Every boy is welcome, whether or not his dad can come.
