There are few passages in all of Scripture better known, more quoted, and more needed than the Sermon on the Mount. In Jesus' longest recorded sermon, we see Him flip the world's values on its head: blessed are the poor in spirit, the meek, the merciful, the pure in heart, the persecuted. These are not shallow slogans or inspirational quotes for hard days; they are a picture of the kind of people who belong to the Kingdom of God. As we walk with Jesus through these eight beatitudes, we are inviting Him to reshape our hearts, redefine what true blessing really is, and lead us in what life in His Kingdom looks like.
